Dancers went to the dance club at Edgware; and walkers went for a Sunday morning walk in Heartwood Forest, Sandridge, and for a walk in Little Berkhampstead, with drinks or lunch in a pub afterwards.

Days out included a guided London Walk round Little Venice; a visit to the Ove Arup exhibition at the V&A; a visit to the Henry Moore studios and gardens at Perry Green; and a visit to the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley.

Evening entertainment included a classical music concert at the University of Hertfordshire; and a performance by Nina Conti at St Albans Arena. There was an evening meal at an Indian restaurant in St Albans. Members went to a quiz at Grove House; a quiz and supper in aid of Radlett Musical Theatre Company; and a quiz with buffet in aid of Herts Air Ambulance.

There was also a Sunday afternoon event to see the Osiligi Maasai Troupe performing in St Albans Cathedral, followed by tea and chat in the Cathedral’s café.

The first Tuesday lunch will be at a pub in St Albans, and members will go to the Monday night quiz at the pub on the Hatfield road.
